Little Shadow is a CometSeek app. For support or privacy questions, contact shadow@cometseek.com. The app is currently in development. This policy describes the current implementation and will be updated if its practices change before release.
What stays on your device
Little Shadow saves scores, collected stars, challenge history, daily challenge records, achievements, theme choices, and tutorial progress locally. Settings such as language, sound, and haptics also stay on your device. A randomly generated installation identifier keeps progress from different installations from being counted twice. It is not an advertising identifier. The app keeps a local purchase-access cache; it does not receive your payment card details.
Apple services
If iCloud is available, the app uses Apple’s iCloud key-value storage to sync supported game progress, including installation-based progress identifiers. Device preferences and the local purchase cache are excluded from that sync. We do not run a separate game-progress server.
If you sign in to Game Center, the app can submit scores and achievements to Apple and display leaderboard information, including your Game Center name and rank. Their visibility follows Game Center settings. See Apple’s Game Center privacy information.
Purchases and restorations are processed by Apple. The app uses verified StoreKit transaction information to determine access to the full version, including refunds or revoked access. Apple handles payment details under its privacy policies.
Advertising and permissions
The current app contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or location. You do not need to create a CometSeek account to play. Diagnostic events used by the game remain local; there is no app analytics uploader.
This website and support
This website uses no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, marketing cookies, or email signup form. Language is selected through page links rather than a tracking cookie. The interactive illustration runs in your browser and does not upload your actions.
Our hosting server processes connection information such as your IP address and requested URL to deliver the site and maintain security. Routine access logging is disabled for this site. Technical error logs may contain request details and are rotated daily, retaining up to seven rotated logs.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you send. We use them to respond to your request, not to send marketing. You may ask us to delete your correspondence; limited records may be retained where necessary to resolve a dispute or meet legal obligations.
Your choices and deletion
Deleting the app removes its local app-container data; data already synced to iCloud or Game Center may remain and may return after reinstallation. Manage available iCloud storage and Game Center options through your Apple Account settings. Apple controls its purchase records and service-level retention. Contact us for help with a data request; we cannot directly access or erase your private iCloud save or Apple purchase history.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of personal information we hold. Email us to make a request. We do not sell personal information.
Children and changes
The app does not ask players for their name, age, email, or a separate account. Purchases and Apple services are subject to Apple’s parental controls and account settings. If a child sends personal information to our support email, a parent or guardian can contact us to request deletion.
We will update this page and its revision date when practices change. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
